Work with Young People

Adrian has vast experience working with young people, including having been Youth Worker In Charge at Mosterton Youth Club, and a staff Youth Worker at both Chard Youth Centre and Beaminster Youth Club. . He is a fully qualified Youth Worker in Charge.

He has been responsible for envisioning and co-ordinating many arts and environment based projects with young people, including:

* Dorset Youth Service Arts Extravaganza

 * All Alone In Tangle Wood - a comedy for and by young people commissioned to be presented at the Duke Of Edinburgh Award national annual ceremony

* The Bridge of Stories project between young people and the elderly in local communities. This project won the national Help The Aged Millennium Award in the year 2000.

* Stories That Crafted The Earth youth arts project, which made the front cover and a four page feature article in the national youth magazine Young People Now (June 1998 issue), as well as many other appears in the local and regional press.

* Two youth service newsletters written by young people for young people - Generation Us at Beaminster Youth Club, and Connxion (before this became a name nationally associated with youth work!) at Chard Youth Club.
