Balinese
Following our tour of Bali sponsored by South West Arts, we are able to offer a vibrant storytelling experience using traditionanl tales from this beautiful island.
We tell how Tirtha Amertha, the original holy water, was first created - a tale of gods, goddesses, demons and dragons.
We also tell tales about the two famous Balinese dragons, Naga Basuki and Naga Anantaboga. They dwell in Bali's active volcanic fire mountains and teach humans important lessons about humility, sacredness, self worth, and all that is important to lead a worthy life.
Our exhibition includes A4 photographs of Balinese people and life including sacred village ceremonies, temples, fashion, and family life. We also have a beautiful selection of traditional Balinese paintings, batiks, and wooden carvings.
